“ I am grateful to have gone through this program and now I can die peacefully!

That may sound crazy but I am 98 years old and I know what I am talking about.

My granddaughter and I were sitting on the porch drinking sweet tea last summer talking about my life and everything I have had to go through and she bluntly told me to stop being a “complainy pants”! What!?! I am your grandmother, don't talk to me like that! She then told me about this coaching class she did, and told me I need to be more grateful about my life. “ I have finally attached my life with a feeling and knowing of purpose and fulfillment!

Before this quest, I just floated around in life, did the 9-5 slave work and made a lot of money but hated my job, was miserable in my marriage and wanted a divorce, but I never had courage to actually quit my job or actually get a divorce. “I subconsciously liked the delusional illusion of false security” Erika would tell me this.

This is how I met Erika Walton. I started this program at the worst time or maybe it was the best possible time because there is no “right time”! COVID-19, lockdowns, being single, masks, family drama and fear, and dealing with the death of my beloved cat all while being locked down and unable to physically-emotionally connect with my friends and family. “ Let me start with, I am not that type of person who thinks “I need to work on myself”, I am not into self development, Gurus or life- coaches, New Age Spirituality, dogmatic Religion or any other hullabaloo!

“ Lets see.. where to start..
Wow! What a journey it has been!

I guess i'll start where it all began, I was about to kill myself. I was where SO MANY people around the world are these days, especially the younger generations coming in (myself included). I think I was 20 at the time...

...when I was following my heart as far as what fulfilled me in the career aspect but so many other things weren't working like my income and personal life. So, I kept getting an itch to call a friend who had done some life coaching from this gal in California. Immediately reaching out, to see if it was a good fit. She was definitely someone I wanted to learn from and work with in the future, but… I didn't have the money. So I put it in the back of my mind and went on with life. Fast forward 9 months I am at a job I hate and fulfills no part of my soul, I'm barely scraping by, I was struggling so much in fact that I found it hard to learn to give myself a standing ovation just for mustering the energy to brush my teeth in the morning and it was a miracle if I brushed my hair and remembered to feed myself at all during the day.

You may very well be content living the 9-5 life where you are essentially working your life away at a job that fulfills no part of what deep down you feel is your true calling in life, all just to pay to survive. There is no passion in surviving, only in truly living will you reignite that fire!

I signed up for the program with Erika Walton, who I still have not yet met in our physical form but I love and connect with as if we were sisters. I called her in tears and told her where I was at. We had a very real discussion about the commitment and I was on the edge of death so why the fuck would I not give it a try. If I was about to kill myself for lack of feeling and purpose, wouldn't I try anything even if it meant financial death? Haha finances are such a joke to me now.

I used to unconsciously think that if I didn't have money that I would die. If I had debt I would die. Guess what! Depression didn't kill me and lack of money didn't kill me! Both have been a gift to me. Depression is where we began in fact. Because that was what came up so frequently for me I saw it in almost all aspects of my life and as I followed the Destiny By Design Program and kept my mind open to the ideas she had for me to try on, my universe began to shift. Depression became a safe space for me and darkness became my friend and even safe haven. I looked forward to our calls out in nature surrounded by the vision I saw possible for the world and I saw possible because I knew in my core I could create it and Erika's program was my first step and guide to discovering the tools and avenues to create it. I am stubborn and feisty and all sorts of clever in the ways I like to get myself out of things and yet this chick held me to account for every ounce of inauthenticity she heard come out of my mouth. I moved out to California soon after starting the program with Erika. I was able to resolve blocks with my dad that kept me from moving out there with my boyfriend and furthering our life and that was a big step.

Then life took off from there! She continued to coach me through key belief systems that surrounded what made life important to me and assisted me to rebuild the solid foundations to my life that 2 years later would be fostering the growth that I continue to make strides in. I had the pleasure of getting my astrology done which blew my mind!

And mind you I was still in my limited belief about money with no job, had just moved, and I'm a very independent type so I was soaring on the wings of faith.

As part of the program I took part in a ceremony with “The Grandmother” and got a lot! One of which was that I was going to be a mother soon, I thought she was referring to my step son who I already considered my son at 6 years old and was engaged to his father. Some time later I discovered I am 6 weeks pregnant.

I'm thrilled and a short time after discovering there were some shortcomings with my fiancé and Erika helped me to take a closer look as to how I had created this and to make a decision that supported us both and felt good. Fast forward again and I left California and had a beautiful natural home birth to my son whom I am happily a single mother too and living more than one of my dreams and passions.

My mindset has expanded exponentially and that has created mass amounts of value to continue to flood into my life along with abundance, love and support.

“ Since I was 7, I used either artificial tears or ointment at night in my eyes because I have dry eyes. Erika shared that I could put ghee in my eyes and I resisted until a couple of weeks ago because of my eye surgery. My eyes would also get easily irritated if I touched them and that would sometimes lead to using an antibiotic to get rid of the irritation. For my left eye which has recently had surgery, I put the ghee around the lids. The irritation went away immediately. For my right eye, my eye now produces tears on its own, which it never has since I had Stevens Johnson Syndrome at age 7. I've probably spent over $100,000 on ointment and eye drops in the past 49 years. With ghee, that would have cost me about $480 and I'm probably over estimating the cost for ghee. “ Erika gave me my life. After years of talk therapy and completing the Landmark Curriculum for Living, I was still unhappy.

I started working with Erika in September of 2016. My dad had just been diagnosed with ALS. I was having issues with my mother. I was in an unsatisfying relationship. And, I wanted to remodel my house but had zero clue on how to make that happen. I don't know exactly how the Destiny By Design Program with Erika worked per say, however, I can say I started to see shifts in my life while working with her that I didn't see before. Erika helped me see that my issues with my mother were really my issues. What made me nuts about my mother was what I saw in myself. My mother was and still is my reflection. Erika helped me see that my mom is having life experiences and she's doing the best she can with who she is and what she has. I admit I still have relapses and go back into that same space, especially since my dad died in August of 2017. However, I am much more aware of my emotions and behaviors. And, our relationship is way better.

While working together, Erika asked me to write out my ideal mate. We worked on creating the person I wanted to be with. Erika then told me that my ideal mate is already in my life . . . and that was my ex-boyfriend at the time. I laughed and thought Erika was nuts.

After working together, and doing Ceremony, I saw that he was the right relationship for me. Again, my issues with him were really issues with myself. We then choose to do Ceremony together. We both had visions of wanting to be with one another.

And, the morning after, we decided to get married.

We wanted to get married while my dad was still alive. So, we set our wedding date to be August 18, 2017. Unfortunately, my dad didn't make it as he passed on August 1, 2017. While working with Erika, I realized the best thing I could give my dad during his illness was my time and love. I made myself available and took trips with my parents, planned a 50th wedding anniversary party, arranged meetings with their friends, etc. I gave the time to my dad that he needed while he was dying. And, I can honestly say I was happy for him when he died. I was happy that he was out of his failing body and no longer suffering. While I was sad for my family, I was happier for him. Prior to meeting Erika, I was really dreading how I would handle my dad's illness. He's been gone for over a year and I can honestly say I don't have any regrets about our relationship or time together.

Additionally, I was skeptical about finding the money I needed for my home to remodel. I had my heart set on doing it. Erika told me to “create” the abundance I needed to do my remodel. I had about $200,000 and needed $700,000. Somehow, I got started and I swear the money came as I needed it. I put the energy out there and the universe provided. I am now married to the man of my dreams and have a fantastic home that we are selling so we can buy something together.

Finally, Ceremony was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. It helped me see that I have a beautiful life. I live in a beautiful world. And, I am surrounded by beautiful people. It helped me see that I have the pieces I need in my life to be happy. I just have to do the work and take action. I am so thankful I took a chance with Erika and participated in the Destiny By Design Program. Without Erika, I wouldn't be married to the man of my dreams nor have the peace of mind I have with my dad and his death. ”
